There are other categories, more specific ways these are the big four we talk about in this class. This game teaches children the alphabet : children noun phrase, the alphabet - dp. This game teaches the alphabet to children : to a preposition. Both sentences are grammatical, have the same meanings. Dative alternation different in syntax, equivalent in meaning. The game teaches the children the alphabet: ditransitive verb grammatical with data alternation.
