Asian immigrants suffered terribly, no employment, no govt support. Age: some people in their 50"s got layed off. Some didn"t work again until 1940"s: lost generation. Young people faced hardship: people would ride the rails . Hop onto a train and go from town to town: throught the mid 1930"s, there were young men drifting the rails from town to town.
