Biological psychology psychobiology: interested in how the nervous system mediates or regulates our behaviours. Psychology is the study of behaviours and mental processes. Behaviour: observable actions in response to a particular situation or stimulus. Mental processes: unobservable, element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and the feel, the faculty of consciousness and thought. We can ask participants about their mental processes! Design a task, and ask subjects about their responses, therefore.
