Age interacts with other social aspects such as gender, race, etc. Experiences throughout life can shape later life may have disabilities due to overexertion during younger life. Shapes the way we interact with the people around us can relate to someone your own age. Youth culture everything tailored for young people. Old age seen as a stage of decline and dependency. As they become more frail and dependent they are looked down upon dependency looked down upon. Silver tsunami huge number of old people who need care casting them n a negative light. Illness and impairment is a reality for many people especially women because they tend to live longer. They receive care from friends and family, or from formal care (home care and long term care, such as hospitals and nursing homes)
