This lecture looks at the impact of humanism on education. By the 14th century a new pedagogy had emerged - married classical conception of education as a process of moral reform with a christian understanding of virtue. Great humanist also known as a pedagogist of education in the 16th century. Reason + education = wisdom, virtue, good decision making.
