Human brain is a network of nodes (thoughts, ideas, emotions, action) stored in memory: if you play doom, nodes are effected and will cause excitation and prepare you for long-term effects. Feelings (pain, frustration) activate anger, revenge, combat: when you walk out of the movie theatre through priming you will experience danger and revenge. Aka excitation arousal: when they play cod or gta, you don"t notice that your heart rate increases. Youth become physically aroused when watching violence: increased respiration, elevated heart rate, higher glucose levels, sweat more. Physical arousal does not go away when movie/gaming ends remain agitated afterwards. Routine watching/habitual: when we watch more violent, we almost become immune to it.
