Document Summary

Get a decrease in conditioned responding: cr: behavior following cs in anticipation of/preparation for the us (not required for the presentation of the us). In this spatial and temporal context, cs does not predict us so no cr. Repeatedly present instrumental stimuli, allowing instrumental responses to occur without any reinforcement. In this spatial and temporal context, performing instrumental response does not produce reinforcement so stop responding. Following extinction, time away from the cs/instrument context. Increase in cr/instrumental response when put back in the presence of this cs/stimuli/context. Exposure to cues linked to the learned association/instrumental response-outcome results in an increased of extinguished behavior. Aba test procedure extinguish cs/specific instrumental stimuli in a different context. When tested again in the context where association/instrumental response was learned see increase in extinguished behavior: condition in context a, extinction in context b, when the animal is placed in context a, its responding to the cs returns.
