In organizations, real power and energy is generated through relationships!!!!!!!!! That which (1) enables us to accomplish goals, (2) the faculty or capacity to act, (3) the strength and potency to accomplish something. To possess power implies the ability to change the attitudes and behaviour of individual people and groups. Meaning and perceptions of power vary from person to person based on one"s values, beliefs, experiences. Adult"s views of power are based on their family experience and childhood: a positive or negative experience of power in childhood can influence their ability to successfully use power and relate to people in powerful positions in adulthood. Power is omnipresent because it originates from everywhere!!!: education build up professional relationships, skills, that contribute to your work place. What are sources of power: legitimate power.
