Document Summary

Starts out with obstacles, obstacles are applied due to the fact that you have a problem. You are trying to achieve the foal state, which is the solution. We engage in problem solving all l day everyday, we probably just dot think of it in this way. The solution that is arrived at is novel, new, something that is never seen before. But it is not enough for an idea to be new, it cannot be just novel, it also has to be useful. These two are both essential in the criteria. For problem solving when your writing an exam, you need to pay attention to what the problem is asking. The problem must make sense to you. You always have to have correspondence, meaning the way you are thinking about the problem actually corresponds with the actual problem that needs to be solved. And lastly you need knowledge you can"t solve a problem if you don"t know anything.
