Aristotle"s explanation is based on what is present not on the future of how things should be. Al colors in the world are a mixture of blue and red. Both are deficient because they look at the private good. History has proven that we are stuck in the past, we"re not making things new, . If one is free and equal then he counts as a citizen, freedom and equality entail each other, if u lack freedom is because u are not an equal, there cant be inequality among citizens. No master/slave relationship can exist bwn citizens only between the community, if not there is a great problem in society. Citizens are free and equal among each other but a citizen rules when he votes but he is also ruled.
