According to the isd model, the end result of the needs analysis is the identification of a problem. The more information we are able to gather about that problem, the more likely we are to find a solution that will address it. If a training solution is chosen (recall that not all problems can be solved with training), the first step of the design and delivery phase of the isd model is the establishment of the training objectives.
