Social work & indigenous people aboriginal women are more likely to be attacked by those they don"t know rather than non- aboriginal women. 7% missing reports happen in reserves, and over 90% in cities. 84% in homicide result, only half of aboriginal cases are solved. 35% of below low income cut off and unemployment 38%. Indian is an historical term that came from european colonization and who counts as indian in canada depends on the indian act. Status indians are those who are registered as indian through the indian act.
