Describe what kinds of virtues (and deficiencies and excesses) would exemplify the virtuous high school teacher. Deficiencies and excesses: self-indulgence, vulgarity, shyness, lack of spirit. Examples: when dealing with a student who is not understanding something you need to be patient, a teacher who is friendly and witty creates a positive atmosphere for their students. What are the 2 trolley problems: the footbridge and the switch case. Ethical features: with the footbridge the action is more personal and direct, with the switch case the action is more an indirect consequence of your actions the people are going to die any ways (doctrine of double effect)
