The chemistry lab safety training is mandatory for students taking chemistry laboratory courses. Students must pass this training before being allowed to take the first lab. The purpose of this training is to inform students of the potential hazards existing in chemistry labs and to teach them safe working procedures. This training includes one video and a quiz. To pass this training, students need a passing grade (80%) of the quiz. Students have unlimited trials on the quiz, but, a maximum of 4 hours to finish all questions in one trial. Check your grade after each trial of the quiz. Once you get higher than 80%, press the printscreen button on the keyboard, paste the copied window into a word document, print and show it to your ta in the lab. Note: the print-out needs to show your name and the grade of the quiz. There is an example shown in next page.
