Cgsc note - how to study with cog sci. How cognitive science can help you get through school: Doodling can help provide some attention in a boring lecture, vs zoning out completely. Taking notes by hand remember more than students who take notes on computers. Guessing answer can make you more likely to say the truth instead of hearing it. If spending > 20 hours per week, marks are probably lower. Don"t listen to music, watch videos or sit where you can hear or see people talking/walking by. Although it feels like you can do it, performance drops. People don"t know that they aren"t studying at max capacity. All the things that are important, and you need to do. Fill in half hours with project list in order. Don"t have to spend your day wondering what you should work on. All important projects done each day, active in memory.
