The individual"s own thoughts and perceptions determine whether a demand, situation, or event is stressful. The same a demand, situation, or event may evoke different levels of stress for different individuals. Whether the stress comes from positive or negative stressors, a consistent physiological response occurs in the human body: general adaptation. Syndrome (tradition and conventional way of thinking about stress) When the stressors happens that is the alarm, when stress levels increase that is the resistance stage, after you return to homeostasis.
