Characteristics of ideology in film: neutral films with no ideological stance (uncommon, implicit films that, explicit films. This might initially be perceived as ideologically neutral . But realisms is a choice, and as such, is not devoid of ideological influence. Cues and codes of realism encourage us to accept it as real . Often the most effective ideological vessels are those that don"t appear obvious . Honest, but ultimately sympathetic with lower classes. An implied criticism of the social system that creates these conditions.
