Way of starting to understand temporal relationships. Older children show scripts related to causality and temporal relationships, It"s tied to time and sequential, has setting/context usually 3-5 yrs. Can describe a social event & relate it to goals. Learning to be good is a way of fulfilling the parent"s goals while achieving child"s goal of being praised. If you can change a script, you can change the world.
