Supplies most muscles of anterior compartment of forearm: passes through carpal tunnel. Skin - lateral 3 digits + nail beds. *susceptible to compression injury (or to associated blood supply) in carpal tunnel (carpal tunnel syndrome) Note distribution to skin & potential motor & sensory loss if injured - wasting of thenar eminence.
