AEROSP 225 Study Guide - Final Guide: Standard Deviation
Document Summary
Notes for ae 225 final / winter 2014. Almost everyone knew how to solve parts (a), (c), (d). Virtually no one found solution for part (b) as many tried to improperly use: solutions to previous similar problems, definition of cm (some of you even introduced cv, use of first and second law. I invite you to look at the solution. Some of you got some of the ideas embedded into the problem. But it appeared that the problem was quite difficult (as a whole) to almost everyone. Two points were removed for part (b) for incomplete solution. One point was removed if missing components on the other part of the problem. This was a wave cancellation problem that we saw previously. Most got it correctly, but a few showed a weak understanding of what an os does to a flowfield.
