Explain what that philosopher"s views are and why you like them. 2 kinds of happiness: hedonic and eudaemonic. Eudaemonic is more fulfilling and lasting as opposed to hedonic pleasure. Finding eudemonia is the ultimate end to everything we do. But to reach eudaemonic happiness we have to live life according to reason. Living virtuously also gives hedonic pleasure because we enjoy doing good. Phronesis: knowledge of how best to act by living through moral education followed by continuous habits of virtuous living. But goodness of life is only measured at the end which i don"t agree with. Philosophers are the happiest people because they live with reason and contemplate, which god does at his most basic level so they are close to god in that they do what he does.
