Mill remains the best, most successful attempt to define the law of where your freedom begins and where it ends. Mill is saying that you can do whatever you want to do as long as that does not directly hurt others. Ex: he can say that he does not like people with glasses and say why, but he cannot say that we should kill those who wear glasses. Mill would defend the kind of personal abuse that donald trump has brought into the campaign. Donald trump is a guy who is pushing the envelope of things that have not been challenged in that way in a long time. A lot of people who previously ignored trump"s nonsense, now say that they regret not speaking out against him.
