Disadvantage: difficult; desired contexts may seldom occur: laboratory b data experiments, some personality tests (mmpi, projective test, apperception test, rorschach test), and psychological measures. Advantages: large range of contexts in lab; appearance of objectivity with subjective judgements. What are weaknesses of projective tests: projective tests a test that presents a person with an ambiguous stimulus; asks them to describe what they see.
