CIS 110 Midterm Review
The Midterm Exam is Monday Feb. 12. It will be a print exam, with a question form and an
answer form (a.k.a., Scantron). I will provide the Scantron forms. You will bring your UO Photo
ID, two #2 pencils equipped with erasers, a single page of notes. Bring your UO Photo ID No ID,
No Exam.
WHAT THE EXAM WILL COVER
• UDW: Ch. 1, 2, 8, 9.
• LWD4ed: Ch. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
• Lab Agendas, weeks 1-5
• Projects 1-3
EXAM FORMAT
The midterm consists of 30, 5-point questions, and one extra-credit question
Best possible score: 155/150.
The questions will be all T/F and Multiple Choice. The midterm is "closed-book" but you may
bring one 8.5" x 11" page of notes to use as a reference during the exam. You can use both sides
of the sheet for notes, and it can be typed or handwritten.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE EXAM
• Attend class and lab regularly, and ask questions in class. FACT: "Attendance is a better
predictor of grade/GPA than SAT, study skills and amount study time".
