We have consequences delivered to us if we don"t follow authority - parents, teachers, superiors, etc. Manifests itself even if we don"t have anything to gain. Cfo more likely to commit fraud if it benefits cfos boss as opposed to cfo. Nurses say they wouldn"t give a knowingly harmful dose of a drug, but almost all nurses do so if the doctor tells them to.
