If one person does try to move it forward in that case, the friendship will never be the same: two cultures theory: Men & women are brought up in 2 different cultures, according to many researchers, & thus are taught to view the world in different ways. Homophily- our friendships tend to be w/ people who are the same age, ethnicity, social class, etc. , i. e. , the people that we have the most in common with and feel more comfortable with.
