LATN 1001 : Passage Translations Exam 3
Document Summary
I am able to compare nothing with friendship; the gods give nothing better to men. Some prefer money; others, a healthy body; others, fame and glory; others, pleasure - but these men are wrong very much, since those things are uncertain and come out of fortune, not out of wisdom. The true friendships comes from wisdom and love and good character and virtue, without the virtue the friendship cannot live.
