Nonverbal communication: all communication except for the words that are spoken/we say: how we say those words, physical appearance, how close we are standing to someone, gesturing, touching someone. Some people smile a lot, move around a lot, speak loudly : once we have a baseline for their nonverbal behavior, we can interpret it a littler better.
