The final exam will be administered on thursday may 10th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm in room 313 design. Be sure to bring the following with you: #2 pencils, calculator only (no mobile phones!!!, 1 4 x6 notecard with notes, nothing elsewe provide the rest. The exam will emphasize new material, but will be comprehensive. Make sure to study all of your notes from the beginning of the semester. This guide is not comprehensive and in no way should be your only means of study. Use this with your quizzes, notes, lecture slides, homeworks, etc. to prepare for the exam. Visible light is electromagnetic energy with wavelengths between 400 and 750 nanometers. High frequency light waves have short wavelengths given a constant speed. (remember physics?) Light that has very low frequency is said to be infra-red while light with high frequency is said to be ultraviolet. The human eye uses a system of rods and cones to sense light.
