Teeth are the most important thing to age children until the age of 18. Medial calvicle is the last to fuse between 22-25 years of age. What if we jus have a cranium: looking at sutures, metopic suture that comes from the bregma (coronal and sagittal meet) down the frontal bone and fuses to make the frontal bone one bone. Incisive suture little circle on picture, fuses about 18: other sutures fuse about 45, basilar suture fused indicated over 18. Looking at mandible: tooth loos, alverlar bone recedes as you get older, long in the tooth. (osteoclastic activity) Hyoid bone: starts out in three pieces then at 35 fuses into one bone, used to anchor tongue. Vertebra: major wear and tear the older you get. Gelnoid: shallow area where humerous articulates, boney buildups. Scapula: as you get older it gets thinner and sometimes holes appear. Humerous: boney extensions, bone against bone is eburnation where there is normally cartilage.
