Pew"s research report examines u. s. citizen"s ability to correctly differentiate between factual and opinionated statements in the news. When i took the quiz, i correctly identified five out of five opinion statements, but i only identified three out of five factual statements correctly. Before reading the research report, i was surprised because i thought i would be more likely to identify factual statements rather than statements of opinion. However, it seems i fall into a positive correlation with the data found. The two factual questions that i wrongly answered as opinions were more left leaning questions.
