Social science 2570: 2015 final exam study questions. The exam will be held on wednesday, april 29th, in the final rescheduled lecture period in las b. The exam will account for 30% of the final course grade. The first will be short answer questions asking you to identify the meaning and explain the significance of concepts/ideas we have examined. The second will consist of two longer essay questions. The first part (short answer) and each longer essay question are equally weighted. Part a will list eight of the following concepts and ask you to identify the meaning and explain the significance of five of them. It will be worth one-third of the final exam mark. Hegel"s idea that "man is free by nature" Hegel"s idea of "the idiosyncrasy of spirit" characterizing each "gradation" of human historical development.
