Similarities approach- we as all humans are alike an any differences that might arise are due to society , more contemporary theory, beta bias. Differences approach- all humans are different due to biological differences, this goes back to the history of darwin and evolution, alpha bias. Liberal- is the belief that women and men should have the same political, legal, economic, and educational rights and opportunities. In contrast cultural - reflects the belief that women and men are different and that women"s special qualities, such as nurturance, concern about others, and cooperativeness, should be valued. Socialist- reflects the attitude that gender inequality is rooted in economic inequality and all other inequalities cannot be resolved until economics for men and women are equal. Radical- is the belief that gender inequality is based on male oppression of women, the dominance of male in all fields, workplace, family and all others need to be eliminated.
