Condition: used to treat eczema (atopic dermatitis) Wash your hands and make sure skin is dry. Apply a thin layer of cream to sufficiently cover affected skin area, twice daily, 12 hours apart. External use only: if contact with nose, eyes, mouth, etc. rinse it out. Apply only to skin region doctor has diagnosed as eczema. Can be used on all skin surfaces (head, neck, armpits) Warnings: stop therapy once signs and symptoms of dermatitis clear. Do not cover skin being treated with bandages, wrapping, etc. Check with doctor before using any other ointments, lotions, creams, etc. 5 days and clears up after a few days. Rashes/hives: could be allergic reaction, discontinue medication and seek medical help. Shelf life of 1 year once opened. Avoid sunlight, sun lamps, tanning, uv radiation. If going outdoors after using elidel, wear clothing that covers treated area from sun. Reduce environmental irritants (use non irritating soaps, perfumes, wool and synthetic fibers)
