Canadian charter of rights and freedoms: which required difference of opinion, which strike at the core of our constitutional, legal, and medical frameworks. Trump vs clinton : opposing views on a variety of different things including: health care, immigration, abortion, and foreign policy. If politics: originates in con ict over scarce resources or differing values, is a struggle among different groups in society that want different things, involves the collective resolution of that con ict. The mechanism used to solve this issue is called government. Government: specialized activity of those individuals and institutions that make and enforce collective decisions that are binding on the community, is the con ict manager - resolves differences between groups in a country. Democratic government: supposed to manage con ict in a certain way, requires, the agreement of all citizens through participation in electoral processes, articulation of views- discussion, direct or indirect representation on policy issues.
