With our current technology, it is extremely easy to share these types of messages through the means of social media. Messages expressed through songs, for example, can be spread exponentially. This could bring a social change in canada, however spreading the message is only the rst step of action. We need people to actually act on what they believe in and to help support these movements. Whether or not a bottom-up approach or a governmental approach is necessary is a dif cult controversy. To me, the crucial question concerns a government"s legitimacy when it tries to change religious teachings, laws, traditions and the family code, all of which form an important part of the private sphere of citizens. There will always be a group of individuals who disagree.
