Said they didn"t want to submit to mastedon. Alexander was successful in making the other states submit, except sparta. Before he died, he expanded his empire through persia, by utilizing indian border. He takes all the land on this route. This was interesting because they are essentially spreading greek culture through that region and learning from local customs. This expansion had 3 effects on the region.
