3) How might aspects of the film’s style that you have identified
fortify the arguments made by classical film theorists advocating for
the artistic status of the silent film? In other words, how do the
stylistic features of The Passion of Joan of Arc function as a strong
case for the medium-specific aesthetics of classical film theory? You
may refer to various theorists you have studied this term, but be
