Document Summary

He internal body uids link the exchange surfaces to body cells. A complex body plan is highly advantageous where the external environment is highly variable when body is complex it can maintain a stable internal environment. Cells are organized into tissues, and tissues organize into organs and a group of organs makes an organ system. The specialized and complex organ system of animals are built from a limited cell and tissue type. There are four main types of animal tissues: epithelial, connective muscle and nervous. There are two sets of systems that control and coordinate stimuli, the endocrine and the nervous system. Hormones are the signaling molecules released from endocrine cells into the blood throughout the body. The nervous system it uses neurons which sends electrical signals to carry messages in the body. The hormones of the endocrine binds to receptors on target cells only the cells that have receptors for that particular hormone respond.
