All and any material from january 4th-29th. Slides: intro to anatomy, cells, tissues, bone, axial skeleton part i & ii. Matching body parts to their correct name. Study of structure and the relation among structures. Study of function, how function is regulated, how the body works. Histology = looking at tissues, bones etc. at a microscopic level. Surface = surface marking of the body to understand internal anatomy through visualization and palpation. Gross = anything you can look at w/o a microscope. Systemic = different interacting parts that make up a system (nervous, digestive etc. ) Regional = specific regions of the body (heart, chest etc. ) Radiographic = body structures visualized through x-rays. Pathological = structural changes associated with disease. 1. chemical level = atoms and compounds and how they bond to form units. 2. cellular level = types of cells. 3. tissue level = groups of cells that work together. 4. organ level = types of tissues.
