However this does not stop development rather it gives way to new qualitatively distinct constellations. For example, globality might lead to planetarity , a new social function brought about by the successful colonization of our solar system. Globalization, a set of processes that are thought to transform our present social condition into one of globality. We are slowly leaving behind the condition of modernity.
