The benefit of including Community Economic development in order to reduce
poverty are based on initiating programs that aim at preventing poverty or reducing it.
The initial benefit of CED is a process that enable families to save money such as
provision of food stamp to limit the amount spend on food.
The food stamp program will help eliminate higher spending on grocery.
The labour market is a competitive market and CED needs to put this into mind. The
number challenge that immigrant face when they come today is the lack of Canadian
work experience.
The Canadian work experience might take a while to develop. The best way for CED
to help these newcomers to Canada is by focusing on training toward developing
Canadian work experience bearing in mind that most of the immigrant are
professionals their field of work prior to arriving in Canada.
Climate change initiatives is a program aim at reducing manmade dangerous emission
that can increase global warming and that can damage health and increase mortality of
a population.
The initiative is about focusing on economic development that uses less of synthetic
energy while also boosting productivity. It is also about creating a suitable
environment for farmers and businesses with view of using clean energy for building
houses that are resilient to climate changes.
It is a process of creating jobs and reducing the release of hazardous materials into the
environment.
