How do we arrive @ a belief: authority. When we accept the validity of info from a source we judge to be expert, we are relying on authority as a source of our knowledge (parents, textbooks, doctors, etc) Relying on the authority of others to establish our beliefs overlooks fact that authorities can be wrong.
