Focus on the meaning of life and dignity for the individual: this meaning is what guides us. Like taking apart a birthday cake to analyze its quality. Humanistic principles: the primary study of psychology should be the experiencing person. All people are individuals: choice, creativity and self-realization are concerns of the humanistic psychologist. Self-realization is the highest achievement for humanists as well: only personally and socially significant problems should be studied. No point in studying unimportant phenomena because the object is improving lives and making people happy: the major concern of psychology should be the dignity and enhancement of people. Humanist theories are very positively oriented in comparison to other personality theories. Was not only a very influential psychologist but also has had large impacts on business and commerce.
