Part a will focus on section 3 of the course, structured like the other essays we have written. Focus is on the third part but you can bring in anything we have done up to that point. There will be questions about this book so read it goddamnit. Part b will be open to all of the course material and deal with major themes in the course. Difference between semester essays and the final is that there"s no expectation for quotes or drawing as much on specifics. Have a thesis though and structure an argument by using the body to support. Draw on course material to write a convincing essay. Like putting an author name in context with an argument. If you refer to a specific example, put the author in parentheses but w/o page numbers. No real page number but longer than 1-2.
