N/a: assemble the circuit as shown in first year physics laboratory manual" experiment. 3: adjust the power supply voltage until the oscilloscope reads 5 volts (up 5 divisions). Do not worry about the actual voltage reading on the power supply. B : using the grid on the scope measure how long it takes for the dot to go up 5 divisions. Do not use the stopwatch for this measurement. If you have to try again, move the switch to a wait for the dot to go back to the bottom and try again. (see step9) pg. Part b: replace the oscilloscope with a voltmeter. Set voltmeter to 20 v. dc: set r to 0" ohms, with the switch on b", adjust v to read exactly 14 volts on the voltmeter.
