Place glider #1 to the left of the timer gate (the first gate) and launch glider #1toward the elastic bumper at the end of the air track. Allow the glider #1 to pass through the timer gate and collide with glider #2. 4: glider #2 (which was at rest v=0) will pass through the slave gate.
