questions at the end of each chapter are also useful to learn material.
The 30 point question will come from the chapter on self-confidence
Make sure you understand concepts and how to apply them -- don’t just memorize what a concept “is” but
make sure you understand how it can be used to impact sport and exercise behaviours, why it’s important in
relation to the goals and discipline of sport psychology.
Know all the different theoretical perspectives discussed in each chapter! In other words, READ YOUR
TEXT BOOK and READ YOUR NOTES or you will be at a disadvantage.
Anything discussed and presented during class lectures is testable material, so do not assume that just
because you read the chapters and/or were not present in class, that you will have gained a good grasp of the
material. At the same time, do not go only by your lecture notes to gain a good grasp of the material these
merely highlight concepts, they do not supplement them in detail.
THE BEST STRATEGY: Combine your lecture notes with the in-depth material presented in the chapters
that will give you more knowledge and allow you to understand and answer questions beyond a surface level.
