Two features drive cultural tourism products: attractions and access.
• Attractions are demand generators that give the consumer a reason to
visit a destination.
▪ )f demand generators do not exist, people will not visit, regardless
of how strong the access is.
• Access provides a means to reach the destination or the product within
the destination.
▪ )f access is poor, people will have difficulty visiting event if demand
is high.
• The potential appeal of the product must exceed the potential cost
associated in time, money or effort to access it.
• When considering the product potential of cultural tourism, managers
need to take into consideration the following wider issues.

2) understanding the asset in its setting 了解其设置中的资产
3) asset specific considerations: place and cultural spaces 资产特定考
