I have to make some type of mechanical device to put inside anemptysoda can that will make it roll on its own (I can dosomething tothe can before setting it down like winding it up orsomething, butI can't push it or anything). Nothing can extendbeyond 5mm oneither side of the can and nothing can be batteryoperated. I'mhoping to get the can to roll at least 15 or someters, but so farI've only been able to get about 2meters. I've thought of possiblyusing a gyroscope, but I'mnot sure how to harness the spinning tomake the can roll as wellwithout inhibiting the gyroscopecompletely.
Can this be done using a gyroscope or someothermechanism?
